An interactive mapped projection
Inspired by the warm summer afternoons of Rio de Janeiro, during the kite season. this experience consists of a mapped projection of a sky that the public can interact flying kites through the phone.
Created by Leonardo Souza RABIOLA OPEN SKIES is funded by Black Public Media, it won the second place at 2022 Pitch Black. This Okoto Studio production is an experience that consists of a big, moving image of the sky that will be projected onto the outside or inside of locations with high foot traffic. The public can interact with the experience through their phones that will control a kite in the projected sky.
During the game, stray kites will fall from the sky and the players must collect them before they reach the bottom of the screen. The projection will display a general score with the total number of kites collected, and each user will be able to see their own personal score on the phone.
